ThinkFor50 with Matthew La Pine

ThinkFor50 is a series from the South West Gospel Partnership where we get speakers from across the country and beyond to join us online to present interesting and punchy thoughts on theological and practical issues. 

On Wed 21st April at 12:30pm we will be joined all the way from Iowa by Matthew La Pine to talk to us about his book The Logic of the Body. Matthew argues in this book that we need a theological psychology in order to properly understand the emotional life of the human person, to see how it can be true that our emotions are part of our embodied nature as human beings, and yet we can be commanded as disciples to cultivate them in healthy directions. 

For these sessions, the speaker gets 25 mins to speak, followed by 25 mins of questions, so they're designed for you to drop into your lunch time whether you can join us for 25 mins or the full 50.
