Guarding the Minister's Mind

For our September Partnership meeting, we'll be joined by Tim Ward, who is Lecturer in Homiletics at Oak Hill College.

We've asked Tim to address the topic of Guarding the Minister's Mind. Paul warns the church not to be "blown here and there by every wind of teaching" (Eph 4:14). Yet for those labouring at preaching and teaching, there's a pressure to keep up with the latest theological fads, the popular names and their books - yet precious little time to treat everything new to in-depth study. How do we stay equipped to guard our flocks while also guarding our own minds?

This meeting will be hosted at St Barts in Bath, and lunch will be provided (a small donation is suggested to cover the cost).
