The Men's Convention has now taken place. Recordings are available.

After creation God said, “It is finished”—and he rested.
After redemption Jesus said, “It is finished”—and we can rest.

Tim Keller

This year at the St Michael's Centre in Bristol, on Saturday 30th September, we'll be joining together as men from across the South West to focus our hearts and our minds on the centre of our salvation, the Cross of Christ.

We'll enjoy main talks from Andrew Sach and Ray Brown, afternoon seminars on a range of applied topics, music led by Music Ministry, the legendary 10ofThose bookstall and lots of opportunities for previous fellowship together as Christian men.

Join us to rejoice together at the infinite depths of love, the perfect design of wisdom, and the steady and glorious justice displayed in our Saviour's work of redemption.

Join us to be finished with guilt that has been removed. To resolve to be finished with sin whose power is broken.

To rest together in the completed work of Christ.

Because it is finished.

Speakers

Andrew Sach

Andrew serves part-time at Grace Church Greenwich, and part-time as a tutor on the Cornhill Training Course, helping to train other preachers. He has been a regular speaker at university missions and is the co-author of several books with decreasingly-imaginative titles: Dig Deeper (2005), Dig Even Deeper (2010) and Dig Deeper into the Gospels (2015). He has a background in science that began with an explosives factory in his parents’ garage aged 15 and ended with a PhD on why two ears are better than one. He enjoys playing Bach on the piano and attempting to pour nice shapes in his coffee with frothed milk. He has 8 godchildren.

Ray Brown

Raymond was born in Birmingham, England to Jamaican parents. He grew up in London and was raised alongside his twin sister by his maternal grandmother. After his 'A' levels, he did a science decree at Kings College London, where he was involved in co-leading the Christian Union. He spent a year as a church apprentice at a large Anglican church in central London. He later worked as a science teacher in Tower Hamlets and Harringay before entering full time Christian ministry. For nine years he and his wife served as missionaries church planting in Durban, South Africa.

He is currently the minister of East London Tabernacle. Raymond is married to Rebekah and they have four children: Naomi, Nathanael, Natalia and Noah. In his spare time he enjoys watching movies, swimming, reading and cycling around south east London.
